The Scratching Post was created in 2011 when I began commuting to Toronto for university. While attempting to find a position with the flexibility to attend school full time, I went back to one of my passions, cats, and began pursuing a career working with them. The rest is history!

The Scratching Post started small and as a one-person operation continues to provide the kind of personalized service I began with. I have years of experience owning and working with cats through fostering and volunteering.

Our mission at the Scratching Post is to provide the best care possible for all the cats we look after. By working exclusively with cats we know all about their unique needs and personalities. With over 100 satisfied cat clients, you can rest assured that your cat is always in the best hands.
